If you have a kid at Roswell High, here's your news: Fulton County voters approved ESPLOST VII on Nov. 3, with 68.41% voting yes. The one-cent sales tax pays for school capital projects. Before the vote, FOX 5 Atlanta said the tax was projected to generate $2.095 billion for Fulton County Schools and Atlanta Public Schools.
Fulton Schools' plan, called Capital Plan 2032, lists major upgrades and HVAC renovations at Roswell, Johns Creek, Milton and Centennial high schools. It also brings facility upgrades to North Atlanta's Region C, including a new replacement elementary school. The district hasn't said which school that will be.
