If you've been waiting for Johns Creek to get a downtown, is here. It opened Oct. 29 on the former State Farm campus. The first phase of the $560 million project has 145,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, 340 rental homes, 133 for-purchase townhomes and a 25,000-square-foot plaza.

The big number is on the office side. Toro Development Company says the office space is 100% leased, the first project in metro Atlanta to open fully leased in more than a decade. North Fulton's Class A office vacancy is approximately 31%, with Johns Creek at 18%, according to Stream Realty Partners.
