Three-part beginner printmaking series. Students learn tools, materials, and printing practices behind multi-color block printing, then leave with a finished relief print.
Class One: Carving tools and safe handling, designing for relief, and a short history of block printing. Class Two: Color blocking, how different inks behave, and jigsaw relief — cutting a block into puzzle pieces for multi-color printing. Class Three: Proper registration and printing practices. Students pull a finished multi-color print.
