- ➤ The Northern Ridge Boy Scout District announced that its newest Eagle Scouts completed their Eagle Board of Review on September 25 at Alpharetta Presbyterian Church—local scouts from Roswell and nearby cities achieved this milestone. Appen Media
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Fulton County announced that advance voting for the November 4 election will begin Tuesday, October 14 and end Friday, October 31 at 24 polling locations including Roswell Library—seven sites will also serve as absentee ballot drop boxes. Fulton County
- ➤ Officials are considering adding toll lanes to I-285 and are inviting local residents to share their opinions on the plan—feedback will shape if and when the changes move forward. WSB-TV
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Fulton County Board of Health clinics now offer COVID-19 and flu vaccines for the 2025-2026 season. People aged 5 and older can get the Pfizer-BioNTech Comirnaty vaccine and both shots are available during one visit at clinics including Downtown—where only adults receive their vaccine. WSB-TV
