🏛️ Government
The city of Roswell began demolishing five unsafe structures at Leita Thompson Memorial Park and the Bowen/Highway 92 property on September 17 to protect residents.
The $238,315 project—approved by the mayor and council on June 24—will remove storm-damaged and hazardous buildings using insurance funds and Parks Capital Improvement Project money.
🏈 Sports
The Braves beat the Nationals 9–4 on Wednesday as Marcell Ozuna drove in three runs and Matt Olson hit his 28th home run of the season—helping complete a four-game sweep.
The Braves will start RHP Bryce Elder on Friday against the Tigers.
