GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On Sept. 15, one Roswell resident asked city officials to lower the tax rate from 4.949 mills to a rollback rate of 4.658 mills because higher property values cause higher bills—Mayor Kurt Wilson and CFO Bill Godshall said the city will hold a final public hearing on Sept. 22 at City Hall to talk about lowering residential property taxes.
