- ➤ The Georgia Department of Human Services said a cyberattack on July 28 knocked the Conduent-managed EBT phone service offline for over a week and it is scheduled to reboot today. Officials urged users to lock their cards and change their PINs to protect funds — following the attack. FOX 5 Atlanta
- ➤ Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper proclaimed this week as Georgia Farmers Market Week to support local farmers markets and vendors while aligning with National Farmers Market Week—this initiative includes unveiling an interactive map and forming a partnership with Generation Gap. - ➤ Early voting is open in Fulton County for the Senate District 21 special election (following Brandon Beach’s appointment as U.S. Treasurer) as voters cast ballots early. A flood watch is in effect until 8:00 PM EDT for several counties (including Fulton, South Fulton, Jackson, Douglas, Union and others) so residents can stay alert to changing weather. FOX 5 Atlanta
