Roswell Police are investigating the theft of two paddleboards worth $1,700 from Martin’s Landing after a 59-year-old man reported locking them at 3 p.m. on July 17 and returning on July 20 to find them missing — officers are reviewing security camera footage and working with the homeowners association.

A 60-year-old Lilburn business owner reported a stolen U-Haul truck (a 2025 Dodge Ram valued at $32,000 with an Arizona license plate) to the Roswell Police Department on July 14 after a renter failed to return it following a June 23 rental from Tampico Express (off Alpharetta Highway).

City officials said Roswell will upgrade traffic lights to let emergency vehicles pass faster.

The improvements are expected to begin soon — officials believe the plan will reduce response times in key areas.

Redfin's report showed that metro Atlanta home prices dropped by 3.2% in the past year, the fourth largest decrease among major US cities.

In Atlanta, home prices fell more than 8% and the median price reached $390,000 — nearly one in five buyers canceled their purchase deals amid high insurance costs and extra new homes.
