The City of Roswell will host its City Council Open Forum on June 30 at City Hall — 38 Hill St. Citizens will be able to speak with Mayor Kurt Wilson and the City Council during the public comment period.

Roswell has taken steps to create a 50-acre park on Hardscrabble Road—honoring the Spruill family—by purchasing a 24-acre property for $7.5M to join an existing 25-acre parcel.

City officials said the deal will close within 90 days of council approval and planning will soon begin for the park's layout and amenities.
