FINANCE NEWS
- ➤ Georgia officials said refund checks from the $1 billion special tax rebate are issued daily in batches after processing 2024 state returns following Gov. Brian Kemp signing House Bill 112 in April. Eligible taxpayers who filed by the May 1 deadline will receive $250 for singles, $375 for head-of-household, or $500 for joint filers—either by direct deposit or mail—within six to eight weeks.
