  • On June 19th, metro Atlanta cities held Juneteenth celebrations that honored the end of slavery. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat filed a lawsuit on Tuesday against county officials, arguing that a 2024 ordinance limiting his budget control violates his constitutional rights.   • MarketNsight predicted a return to a rate-driven housing market during its June 12 update, noting that rising mortgage rates and increased resale inventory altered home sales in Metro Atlanta (pending home sales dropped as rates climbed).
