Local activists circulated a petition that gathered over 725 signatures to protect a historic black walnut which may be removed—urging the city to adjust its plans and safeguard the area’s heritage. - ➤ Some Georgians have received a special tax refund in bank deposits labeled 'GASTTAXRFD' this week.
