- ➤ Fulton County Animal Services is overcrowded by more than 73 dogs over its target capacity after a court-related intake added 24 dogs in one day; staff say urgent adoptions and fosters are needed to prevent euthanasia. The shelter has waived adoption fees through Thursday— and will offer free adoptions on Fridays starting June 6 to help manage the crisis. FOX 5 Atlanta

- ➤ The City of Roswell previewed proposed rules for short-term vacation rentals at a city council meeting on May 27 at City Hall, which required rental operators to register and undergo inspections.
