- ➤ Fulton County leaders are considering a policy to ban or limit personal device use by students in grades kindergarten through ninth during the school day while high school students must put away their phones during class. If approved, the new rule will take effect in August and allow exceptions for students with approved educational or medical plans + require schools to set clear protocols for parent communication. - ➤ Governor Brian Kemp signed the Georgia Justice Survivor Act, which lets domestic violence survivors in prison present evidence of past abuse to seek reduced sentences.
