- ➤ Fulton County will celebrate National Public Works Week from May 18 to 24 by presenting a proclamation to the Department of Public Works at its board meeting on May 21 — marking the event — and hosting an exhibit at the Government Center Atrium from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Public Works will offer 1.5-hour tours of water treatment facilities on May 19 in Roswell where participants must wear closed-toe shoes. - ➤ Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signed a law that will keep Bayer from some Roundup cancer claims if it meets federal rules; the law takes effect Jan. 1 (it does not change a recent $2.1 billion settlement) (more than 67,000 claims remain pending). WSB-TV
