- ➤ The American Lung Association released its annual State of the Air report on Wednesday, showing that metro Atlanta's air quality improved significantly since 2000 despite Fulton and Henry counties receiving failing grades for high ozone days—Fulton County dropped from 74 high ozone days in 2000 to 5.5 days recently. - ➤ Georgia wildlife officials confirmed on April 23 that a 4.5-year-old male deer in Berrien County tested positive for Chronic Wasting Disease—marking the second case this year.
