About this event

Open Motion is for everyone. No experience needed, just a willingness to meet yourself where you are with compassion and explore the support, freedom, and confidence guided improvisational movement offers. Movement cues are offered throughout class, offering scaffolding for individual exploration. Whether moving from chaos to stillness, traveling playfully across the floor, or listening deeply while mirroring movement, experienced dancers and beginners alike will notice shifts — from daily routine, to problem solving to performing. Guided movement exploration can energize experience, inform expression, and create calm, while providing a strong cardiovascular workout that doesn’t feel like one, increasing flexibility, both mental and physical, and freeing emotional expression. Dress code: anything you can move in.
