About this event
Explore the dramatic and formative stories of Book of Samuel 1, a pivotal book in the Hebrew Bible that traces the transition from the period of the Judges to the establishment of monarchy in Israel. Through close reading of the text, we’ll encounter powerful figures such as Samuel, Saul, and David, and examine themes of leadership, prophecy, faith, and moral struggle. Together, we’ll unpack the text’s enduring questions about power, responsibility, and divine guidance.
