Sourdough Bloom: Cinnamon Roll Workshop (Hands-On Class)

Roll into the holiday season with artisan baker Holly West of Sourdough Bloom during this delicious, hands-on cinnamon roll workshop at Leaning Ladder Olive Oil in downtown Woodstock, Georgia!

In this two-hour class, Holly will guide you through every step of making soft, fluffy, bakery-worthy cinnamon rolls from scratch. You’ll learn how to prepare the dough, create the perfect filling, shape and slice your rolls, and achieve delicious results in your own kitchen. Holly will also share her favorite tips and tricks for making the best homemade cinnamon rolls every time.

We’ll explore creative fillings beyond traditional cinnamon and sugar, along with different icing options and tasty toppings that will help you customize your rolls for any season or special occasion.

Each student will prepare and take home their own tray of cinnamon rolls, ready to bake in their own oven. Imagine filling your home with the incredible aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls—and then sharing those warm, homemade treats with your family and friends!

You’ll also enjoy a tasting of freshly baked sourdough cinnamon rolls during the workshop. Sip your favorite beverage (BYOB), or purchase wine by the glass or bottle at Leaning Ladder while you learn, taste, and create.

You’ll learn how to care for and feed the Bloom sourdough starter you receive during the workshop, as well as how to use it to recreate sourdough cinnamon rolls at home. Bloom Baker Holly will explain how you can make a traditional, non-sourdough version, giving you the knowledge and flexibility to bake cinnamon rolls again and again.
