Ian Eastwood's Wenzdays

About this event

Ian Eastwood curates WENZDAYS, a free, international community dance practice and movement format where choreographers build routines on the spot in front of their peers. About WENZDAYS • The Concept: Dancers and choreographers use the "loop effect" technique to bypass the traditional sketching phase and commit raw choreography directly to the music. • Format & Community: Sessions take place locally and internationally, coordinated through community spaces and a dedicated WENZDAYS Discord. • Notable Collaborators: Regular sessions feature guest choreographers and dancers such as Raiden King, Chloe Carthen, Ellie Pascua, Joaquin 'Joe King' Benitez, Jack Brokaw, Timmy Wu, Noahlot, Fefe Burgos, and Deshawn Hawthorne. • Music Tracks: Recent sessions have tackled tracks like Kaytranada's "Goodbitch!," 50 Cent's "In Da Club," Reyrzy & Davii's "Moshpit," and more.
