Health, Hope & Heroes 5K Walk/Run and Kids' Fun Run

About this event

🎽 Join the Race for a Great Cause!

Join us for the Health, Hope & Heroes 5K Walk/Run and Kids’ Fun Run presented by the Georgia Intellectual Property Alliance (GIPA) and its partner organizations, Georgia Lawyers for the Arts, Georgia Alliance for Breast Cancer, and Peace Harmony Joy, —a day to move with purpose and stand beside those who need our support most.

Every step honors the courage of Breast Cancer patients, the dedication of First Responders, and the ingenuity of local creators.

Whether you run, walk, donate, or simply show up, you become part of a community united by hope, compassion, and the power of showing up for one another.

When you participate or not, you also have the chance to honor first responders by sponsoring one or more first responders to participate. Click here (https://runsignup.com/Race/Store/205659) to learn more!

Weather Policy

The Health, Hope & Heroes 5K Walk/Run and Kids' fun run will proceed rain or shine. However, participant and volunteer safety is our top priority. In the event of lightning or severe weather, the Race Director (or designated Safety Officer) may delay the start, suspend the race in progress, shorten the course, or cancel the event entirely, at their sole discretion.

If lightning is detected within the area, the event will be suspended for a minimum of 30 minutes following the last observed strike, per standard event safety guidelines. Participants and spectators should be prepared to seek shelter in a hard-topped vehicle or substantial building — not open-sided tents or pavilions — when instructed.

Registration fees are non-refundable in the event of a weather-related delay, shortening, or cancellation. We appreciate your understanding, as we make these decisions with everyone's safety as the top priority.
